SMS Messaging & Opt-In

Overview

Torq sends account and authentication text messages, including one-time login and two-factor authentication codes, security alerts, and account notifications, to registered users of the Torq application who opt in to receive them.

How you opt in

Signed-in users add and verify their mobile number in the Torq app under Settings -> SMS notifications. They check a consent checkbox and confirm a one-time code sent to their phone. Consent is not a condition of using Torq.

The consent checkbox reads:

"I agree to receive account and authentication text messages from Torq (login codes, security alerts, and account notifications) at the phone number above. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."

Message types

Messages sent under this program are limited to authentication and one-time passcodes, security and sign-in alerts, and account notifications. These messages are transactional only. Torq does not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program.

Opt out / help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help.

Privacy
